So since I haven't been here in a while, I figured I'd talk the time to come here and give a weekend update and all. Considering that I actually have some breathing space today. *chuckles*

The Week - It was actually an okay week, it rained a lot almost everyday, but apart from that twas a normal week. On Tuesday me and 3 other friends went to the movies to see 2012, since on Tuesday it's half the price. Course, everyone else had the same brilliant idea and when we got there the session we wanted to see was full. So we ended up going to McDonalds instead. Which in my honest opinion, was just as great.

Apart from going to classes I have been dedicating all my free week time to working on the Big Bad Thesis. It's coming along fairly well, and while it can get rather boring sometimes it's not hard. Just long. And occasionally boring. So far I have already written 2/3 of it and if I work on it full time, I think I might even finish it by the end of the week!! *happy dance*

Saturday - In the morning Mother and I took turns baby-sitting Emma, which is always fun and very adorable. Then in the afternoon Mother and I went grocery shopping and I GOT MY NEW CELL-PHONE!!! Yes, after 5 - FIVE - years of having the same cell-phone, it sadly died on me and had to be ultimately replaced. I was quite sad at first, because in 5 years you kinda get attached to the thing, but still, it's time had come and it had been a good phone. It deserved it's rest.



Sunday - On Sunday Mother had this meeting with a group of her old work friends in downtown and since I'm their mascot I tagged along for the ride. First: Because I would get to drive and whatever opportunity I get for a 2h drive, I'm up for it! Second: Because they are a group of 7 women in their 50s and they are just HILARIOUS!! I never stop laughing when I'm with them. And Thirdly: Because they always pick the best restaurants or coffee houses to go to and everything is just so yummy, petit gateau here I come!!

But before that Mother and I stopped at the mall to browse while we were killing some time and she decided that I needed new summer dresses. So we ended up shopping for a while and by the time we had to leave I was one happy Lili with 3 new summer dresses. Can't wait to use them!!

We arrive at the coffee place, meet everyone, gifts between them were exchanged, etc, etc. It was a fun afternoon, as usual I laughed until I cried and by the end I had happily eaten one of the best grilled sandwiches ever and, of course, my promised Petit Gateau. Seriously, it is the Best. Dessert. Ever. Made.

Monday - And today, well, today was one of those days when I know I have a billion things to do - like the Big Bad Thesis - but just can't seem to find the strength or will to do anything. I did try writting a few pages for the BBT, but only managed to reach 3, then I got fed up and went to lie down on the couch and watch Firefly. Which, may I point out, is such a brilliant show!! And Captain Mal owns my heart. Just saying.

So yeah, that's it for the week up-date. Hopefully I'll soon be able to have all the free time in the world once I finally hand in the Big Bad Thesis and finish editing a Documentary. Because after that??
Then it's good-bye University, Hello Bachelor's Degree and Welcome Back Summer Vacations!! Whoot!!

My trusty broken screened camera has officially bitten it, methinks. Nothing happened when I tried to take a picture, or when I hooked it up to my comp. Fare thee well, Slytherin Cam, ye shall be missed.


Fuji has upgraded it to this so-called "adventureproof" model that is sand, water, and snow proof. I like it because it's like the old one, but not.

Unfortunately, I think I need to get the Olympus "TOUGH" (IT'S ACTUALLY CALLED THAT AND I LAUGHED). IT'S SO TOUGH IT COMES IN CAMOUFLAGE. Now that's tough, bitches. No, but seriously, shatterproof, waterproof, katrinaproof? Worth shelling out $275 that I don't have, amirite?

So xiratania told me about this site I can upload my music videos to. My favorite X-Files vid I've made was taken down from YouTube & I love it so much. I decided I'd post it here for those that may want to see. :D
